The Ninety-Nines, Inc., International Organization of Women Pilots, founded in 1929 was the first organization created for just for pilots. There are two classes of membership based on pilot certification: Student Pilot member or certificated (licensed) Pilot member. Membership is available to any female that holds either. Membership makes you part of a sisterhood with a storied history in aviation. Membership confers an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of aviatrixes, to become part of the history of women in aviation, to further the joy of flight, to share that passion with other women.
To join as a student, you must provide a copy of your current FAA student pilot certificate issued via IACRA or the equivalent document for non-U.S. applicants. You may remain a Student Pilot member in The Ninety-Nines for as long as you hold a current student pilot certificate.
